The supply is limited and being used by others as well! The resources regenerate quickly! The supply provides multipliers to those who wait. The maximum multiplier is 8x. Multiplier increases as the time passes.

Patience is not the only virtue! The supply of resources in the fields withers out and goes back to zero after a full day (24 hours) without activity.

Gathering gives you an aura of indestructibility for about 2 seconds. You will fall to the bottom of the realm when another player gathers resources.
